Dimensional Fund Advisors Canada ULC’s (“Dimensional Canada”) is committed to ensuring the fair treatment of complaints regarding its products or services, and this compliant handling policy is intended to meet the standards set forth in the applicable federal and provincial regulations of Canada. The policy provides clients who allege misconduct in the handling of their account(s) an established dispute investigation and resolution process, as well as a response within a clearly defined timeframe.

In your complaint, please state your name and any Dimensional Canada contacts, describe the misconduct alleged, the harm suffered and the corrective action you are requesting. Dimensional Canada will generally seek to respond to the complaint within five business days. Dimensional Canada will generally seek to resolve complaints within 90 days of receipt.
If, following Dimensional Canada’s response, the client is not satisfied, then the client may request that the file be transferred to the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) for residents of Quebec, or the Ombusdsman for Banking Services and investments (OBSI) for residents outside of Quebec, as appropriate.
